It is a sensory discipline that allows the measurement of the characteristics of a product by means of the human senses.
Sensory test requires panels of assessors, appropriately trained to recognize the sensory attributes (descriptors) of the specific product being tested and evaluate their adequacy.
The sensory assessors, therefore, do not express a subjective opinion of their liking of the product but an objective measurement of its characteristics and record their answers on a specific form.

This type of in-depth interview involves two participants who know each other being interviewed contemporaneously: friends, relatives, family members, colleagues. This methodology is useful while interviewing children or teenagers who can feel intimidated by an individual interview or, mainly, in case of particular research where the decision-making process involving more people is under examination: duos can help in understanding who plays which role, who decides and who pays, …
Triads involve three participants and have the same principles and objectives as duos.
