The wretched race (epic of ahiram book 3) - The Wretched Race (Epic of Ahiram Book 3) - Kindle edition.

Hermaeus Mora ( ), also known as Hoermius , Hormaius [1] , Hermorah [2] , Herma Mora , [1] and The Woodland Man [3] is the Daedric Prince of knowledge and memory; his sphere is the scrying of the tides of Fate, of the past and future as read in the stars and heavens. [4] He is not known for being good or evil; he seems to be the keeper of both helpful and destructive knowledge, although he usually sees all seekers of any knowledge as his servants.

Also called the Demon of Knowledge, he is vaguely related to the cult origins of the Morag Tong if only by association with his sibling, Mephala . [3] He usually chooses to appear to mortals as a void of darkness, or as a grotesque mass of tentacles and eyeballs.

As recorded in The Doors of Oblivion , Hermaeus Mora maintains a realm in Oblivion called Apocrypha , where all forbidden knowledge can be found. It is an endless library, with shelves stretching onward in all directions, stacks on top of stacks. Every book has a black cover with no title. Masses of ghosts move through the stacks, rifling through books, eternally searching for the knowledge they sought whilst living. [5]

The Specialized Crux Pro Race UDi2 lives up to the well-established pedigree of Specialized race bikes. If you have ever owned a Specialized Tarmac you are going to be right at home on the Specialized Crux Pro Race UDi2 .

To label the Crux Pro Race UDi2 as a ‘cross bike doesn’t capture how well rounded a bike it is. Sure, it has all the things you want from a world class ‘cross bike – hydraulic disc brakes, Ultegra Di2, a Roval carbon tubeless wheelset, and incredible handling – but it is still more. We threw on some 28mm road tires and went out for a four-hour road and trail expedition. Riding the Crux Pro Race Udi2 for four hours and climbing over three-thousand feet is a testament to the bike’s comfort and Specialized’s CG-R, FACT carbon seat post. The Shimano 785 Hydraulic discs easily handled the high-speed, fire road descents making for an absolute epic test ride.

A single sour note plays on the Crux and that is weight. With a carbon frame, high-end spec and carbon wheels we were surprised to see 18.5lbs register on the scale when we weighed the bike. Sure, plenty of disc equipped carbon cross bikes hit the 18lb mark in size 58cm, but for over $7000 we had hoped the Crux would be a bit less to shoulder.

Mos Eisley ( pronounced /mɑs aɪzliː/, moss izelee , ( Listen   ( help · info ) ) ) was a large spaceport on the planet Tatooine . It was located on the Great Mesra Plateau , north of Anchorhead and southeast of the Jundland Wastes . The spaceport, while lacking a primary landing facility, contained 362 hangars in which arrivals could berth. [1]

Chalmun's Cantina was where Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi met Han Solo and Chewbacca , during their quest to get to Alderaan and deliver the Death Star plans to the Rebel Alliance . Imperial stormtroopers also searched Mos Eisley for R2-D2 and C-3PO , the holders of the missing Death Star plans. [3] The cantina was also home to the infamous confrontation between Han Solo and Greedo , which led to Greedo's untimely death. Ponda Baba and Dr. Cornelius Evazan were present at Mos Eisley, and Obi-Wan Kenobi cut off Ponda Baba's right arm with his lightsaber .
