Dark curse (the 'dark' carpathian book 19) - Dark Curse | Once Upon a Time Wiki | FANDOM powered by Wikia

The Dark Curse was originally an ordinary Mii from a long time ago. A Mii that was too ordinary, in fact. People everywhere refused to socialize or even acknowledge he existed, which understandably made the Mii upset. Looking in a mirror, he drew a conclusion: the reason people ignored him was because of his face being too bland and boring.

After a while, he somehow got rid of their face. But without a face, Miis cannot express any emotion or talk, faces essentially being like a soul to them. So the Mii faded from existence, leaving behind an empty shadow of a soul filled with malice, envy and hate: Dark Curse.

If the player chooses "Save Him", they are allowed to give him a completely new appearance by casting him in a different role. After doing so, he appears as a new Mii with the name of which Mii they were assigned. He thanks the main character for this and the Great Sage forces him to travel with them, though he has no problem with it. In the credits scene, he is classified as "Reborn" with the name of the Mii he was given under it. He can be seen petting a dog, the Great Sage approving of this.

There have been thirteen games in the Dark Parables series to date. [1] In each installment the player plays as "The Fairytale Detective", a detective who is dispatched to exotic locations to investigate reports of disturbances of suspected/confirmed fairytale nature. Although in the games the player is simply addressed as "Detective", the appellation "The Fairytale Detective" is used for the first time in the third installment, and again in the sixth and tenth installment.

Owner and creative director of Blue Tea Games , Steven Zhao, stated in an interview that inspirations for Dark Parables were the comic book series Fables and casual game Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst . [2]

The first Dark Curse was cast by Regina Mills, also known as the Evil Queen, to finally get revenge on Snow White and her allies. Regina used her father 's heart to activate it. This curse transported nearly everyone in the Enchanted Forest , to a town called Storybrooke. Everyone except Regina was given new identities and new memories, and they had no memories of the Enchanted Forest. Regina became the mayor of Storybrooke. This curse was broken by Emma Swan when she kissed Henry Mills on the forehead, which also broke Henry's sleeping curse .

The second Dark Curse was cast by Peter Pan. It was originally meant to recreate Storybrooke in Pan's image. Peter Pan used Felix 's heart to activate this curse. However, after Pan's demise, Regina modified the Dark Curse and it took everyone in Storybrooke back to the Enchanted Forest instead. Once in the Enchanted Forest, everyone affected by the curse still remembered everything.

The third Dark Curse was cast by the Snow White. She reluctantly used the heart of her husband, David . This curse sent everyone in the Enchanted Forest back to Storybrooke, but Zelena interfered with it and made it so that everyone who is cursed would lose their memories of the last year in the Enchanted Forest, unless they have consumed a memory potion beforehand. The curse is eventually broken by Regina when she kisses Henry on the forehead, similar to how Emma broke the first curse.
